The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) on Friday announced its three-stage plan to become the region’s aviation hub, increasing air traveller capacity to 270 million people per year by 2037 and becoming top five countries in air logistics in the Asia Pacific.

Thailand's Transport Ministry has pledged to upgrade and improve its Hua Hin Civil Aviation Training Centre to support Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin's ambitious goal of making the country a regional aviation hub.
